What’s the Cancellation, Refund and insurance policy?
OFPANZ reserves the right to amend the conference and trade expo programme without notice, however, it is intended to run as advertised. A cancellation fee of NZ$100 will apply to cancellation registrations on or before 20 May 2020. No refunds will be available after 1 June 2020. Any amendments/cancellations after registration must be notified in writing to OFPANZ.
In the event the 2020 conference and trade expo is cancelled by the convenors or the OFPANZ Executive, or if by any other reason the event cannot take place, all fully paid amounts will be refunded. The liability of the convenors and OFPANZ Executive shall be limited to that refund and neither shall be liable for any other loss, expense or cost, however caused, incurred or arising. Neither the convenors nor the OFPANZ Executive shall be liable to refund any travel or hotel costs incurred by delegates and/or sponsors or their organisations. Sponsors, delegates and accompanying partners are advised to take out comprehensive insurance including travel insurance.
Neither the convenors, nor the OFPANZ Executive, can accept any liability for death, injury, any loss, cost or expense suffered by any person (including accompanying persons or partners or attendant caregivers) if such loss is caused or results from the act, default or omission of any person. In particular, neither the convenors nor the OFPANZ Executive can accept any liability for losses suffered by reason of war, including threat of war, riots and civil strife, terrorist activity, natural disasters, weather, fire, flood, drought, technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown within any premises visited by delegates, sponsors and/or partners in connection with the 2020 OFPANZ Conference, nor losses suffered by reasons of industrial disputes, governmental action, registrations or technical problems which may affect the services provided in connection with the 2020 OFPANZ conference and trade expo. Neither the convenors, nor the OFPANZ Executive, are able to guarantee that speakers or panelists as advertised will appear.
When do I need to pay?
Full payment of early bird discounted rates is due on, or before, the date of closure of the advertised special. Thereafter, failure to pay the early registration fee will result in a default to the full registration fee on that date. Early bird discounted rates apply only to full delegate registrations, not part registrations.
All conference payments are due prior to the conference, by the advertised or invoiced date. The OFPANZ Executive observes the right to cancel registrations for failure to provide payment prior to the event. Any late registrations received after the cut off dates are to be discussed with the Executive Officer to ascertain if final numbers have already been provided and the financial impact of late registrations. Last minute registrations do not have to be accommodated.
Sponsors and exhibitors will provide a full payment of sponsorship fees, or a 50% deposit on the payment of fees no later than 15 April 2020. The balance of this payment is due no less than one week prior to the advertised conference date. They will also be required to sign a contract on confirmation of their requested exhibition or sponsorship package.
Any non-member who opts to join the Association within three months of attending the conference is entitled to a refund of the difference in cost between non-member and member registration.
